at Nima Sessions

At Nima Sessions we believe that art and inspiration is everywhere; inside the classroom, in conversations between friends, outside in busy city streets or among trees, seashells or older than time archaeological sites.

 

Therefore, we want students to get the most out of the Sessions in many ways:

Our programs:

Performance

Instructors: Kendra Wheeler | Michael Giunta

​

Performers will receive individual study on their respective instruments (technique and interpretation), as well as attend workshops and classes on multimedia creation and expression.

Composition

Instructor: Kakia Gkoudina

​

Composers will receive individual composition lessons as well as attend workshops and classes on audiovisual expression and interpretation. In addition, composers will learn how to use sound design and visual editing software.

Visual Art

Instructors: Patrick Taylor

​

Performers will develop core software skills in Audio-visual programming by working through a series of projects that visualize sound and connect their instruments with visual systems.
